We have over 100 solar and energy efficient homes on open house tour on Saturday and Sunday, Oct 2 and 3. 11 - 5 PM. The homeowners, or their architects/builders/representatives, will be in the homes awaiting you during these hours to give you the tour, explaining features and answering questions. Stay as long or as little as you like, then on to the next. The Tour is self guided. That way you can pick and choose the homes you really want to see, whether they are retrofits, new construction, ones that contain special features you are interested in, like radiant floor heating, etc. There are more homes than you can possibly visit in one weekend, so choose wisely. Tickets are the brochures which describe the homes and their locations. Ticket/brochures are available either pre-printed at various local stores, or can be downloaded from our web site, www.solartour.org which should have the latest brochure available in September.
