Come let the sunshine in with the National Solar Tour on Saturday October 2nd! The Morgantown area will host a tour of its own from noon to 4 pm. The National Solar Tour is the world’s largest grassroots solar event with over 3,000 communities participating. See how your neighbors are using solar energy and energy efficiency to reduce their monthly utility bills and to help tackle climate change. To begin the tour, please drop by any of the following locations: The Book Exchange on Patteson Drive next to Kroger, Paul and Sally Brown’s home at 428 Grand Street, or John Garlow’s home at 625 Crafts Run Road. Look for OPEN HOUSE signs in the yards of participating homes. Brochures will be available to guide tour participants to other sites in Morgantown and the surrounding area.
